Look in an atlas and you won’t find Nutmeg City. That’s because Nutmeg City is a musical state of mind. It’s somewhere between 1930’s big band swing and 1960’s American garage punk, taking in driving melodic jazz and spaghetti western along the way. Swing is the thing and Melody is king. |

Based around drummer Rhod Burnett and bass player Ady Gillespie Nutmeg City Group use guest musicians such as Michael Rooney, a former Primevals colleague, to complete their sound. Only one rule is ever observed… make music that hits you in the gut! |
